Staff Software Engineer

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced agile environment
• Design interfaces and information exchange between modules
• Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing
• Write code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality
• Drive design reviews and define interfaces between code modules
• Engage in technical discussions and present technical ideas through whiteboarding
• Execute in a fast-paced delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet the product release goal

Requirements

• 9+ years of technical experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Golang)
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with microservices and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of API design
• Understanding of data design and deployment options on cloud
• Understanding of web application security
• Experience with Unix operating system
• Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors with advanced experience.
