About the role
Sigma is growing its engineering team to build high-performance technology on a modern data architecture.
The engineer will help make data easily accessible through an interactive cloud application.
What you will be doing
- Solve problems involved in providing interactive experiences on data warehouses for data exploration and analysis.
- Build with modern tools and languages including Rust, Go, GraphQL, Node.js, and Kubernetes.
- Build backend distributed services, algorithms, and APIs for a cloud application.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources.
- Design and implement software features for a fast-growing user base.
- Collaborate through design and code reviews to promote engineering best practices.
Qualifications needed
- 10+ years of industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software.
- Experience building and deploying robust, secure web applications in a continuous deployment environment.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- A strong sense of craftsmanship and academic curiosity for solving technical challenges.
- A collaborative approach with ownership of work.
