The Project Engineer (PE) is responsible for the Technical Management of the Program along with the oversight of performing requirements analysis and management, technical planning, systems-level design, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk management, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. The PE also performs functional and timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, and requirements interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into systems specifications. Requirement analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, certification, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The PE is responsible for ensuring the logistical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The PE is responsible for the planning and technical execution of the engineering content of an assigned project. The PE plans, schedules, and manages the Engineering content on projects for new product development, along with sustaining and upgrade projects for existing products. New product development includes projects that are solely designed in-house as well as those that are co-developed using other Elbit Systems companies or external suppliers and contractors. The PE is the liaison between the Program Management Office (PMO) and the engineering team assigned to the project. The PE is responsible for performing the technical management activity in accordance with standard Engineering practices and policies.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related Project Engineering Management and Systems Engineering experience to be proficient in the above areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires a working knowledge of engineering processes related to Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Project and associated applications, is needed.
Systems-level block diagram capture tools such as Visio.
Other related systems engineering tools.
Project Management Professional (PMP) exposure or certification a plus
Requirements Management Tools preferred (DOORs or other similar relational databases)
