Role Overview
Serve as the technical backbone of the Engineering organization across architecture, DevOps, SRE, security, and developer experience.
Set technical direction, drive cross-team alignment, and act as the senior escalation point for platform challenges.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency across all environments.
- Design reusable platform components and integration patterns that scale across multiple healthcare systems.
- Partner with Architecture, DevOps, SRE, Security, product, and solutions architecture teams.
- Establish frameworks for AI governance, compliance, observability, and traceability.
- Ensure production platforms meet security, auditability, reliability, and healthcare privacy requirements.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Assist the manager with information security activity implementation and maintenance.
- Support information security competence across the team.
- Implement security policies and procedures and report issues to the Information Security Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software platform and infrastructure engineering experience, with 2+ years at Staff or Principal level or equivalent impact.
- Deep AWS expertise across compute, infrastructure as code, IAM, networking, and security controls.
- Hands-on experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, SRE reliability, observability, and security engineering.
- Experience designing platforms, data processing, data warehousing, and integrated machine learning tooling.
- Ability to resolve platform issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another regulated industry and familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST.
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL orchestration using Step Functions, Glue, or Airflow.
- Experience with platform-as-a-product, developer experience, internal tooling, or self-service platforms.
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure tooling or published technical writing.

- The process includes a talent acquisition phone screen, hiring manager interview, live system design exercise, project retrospective, and cross-functional bar raiser interview.

Commute or Relocation
- Reliable commuting to or planned relocation to Hyderabad, Telangana before starting is preferred.
