Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Room Nurse to provide high-quality care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maternity care and must hold a valid DOH license or eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery
- Assist obstetricians and gynecologists during childbirth procedures
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Prepare delivery rooms and ensure all medical equipment is sterile and ready
- Handle emergency situations such as fetal distress or complications during labor
- Assist in cesarean sections when required
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate mothers on postnatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and DOH regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or post-basic BSc Nursing (Mandatory)
- Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
