Job Purpose
To provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients in inpatient floors and outpatient clinics by assessing patient needs, administering treatments, supporting physicians, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
1.
Provide direct nursing care to patients according to hospital policies and nursing standards.
2.
Assess, monitor, and record patients’ conditions, vital signs, and medical history.
3.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4.
Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
5.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
6.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the medical records system.
7.
Ensure infection control, patient safety, and quality standards are followed at all times.
8.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
9.
Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in patient condition.
10.
Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies required for patient care.
11.
Support smooth patient flow in OPD clinics and inpatient units.
12.
Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and quality improvement activities.
13.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license from relevant health authority.
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in hospital floors or outpatient clinics preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical and patient care skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
