Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography procedures including transthoracic echocardiograms (2D Echo, Doppler, and Color Flow studies) as requested by physicians
- Prepare and position patients appropriately before examinations and explain procedures clearly
- Operate echocardiography equipment efficiently to obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements
- Assist cardiologists during stress echocardiography and other specialized cardiac procedures when required
- Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings or patient concerns immediately
- Ensure proper documentation of examination findings and maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of ultrasound equipment and examination rooms
- Follow infection control policies, patient safety standards, and hospital regulations at all times
- Coordinate patient appointments and maintain smooth workflow within the cardiology department
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement activities, training programs, and continuing medical education
- Adhere to the standards and regulations of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Technology, Echocardiography, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related field
- Valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as an Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in echocardiography services preferred

Role Description
- This is a full time on site role for an Echo Technician based in Jiddah. Qualifications
