Team and Role Overview
Build the AI layer of a CPQ platform using Python services for natural-language configuration, quoting, and transaction management.
Operate multiple production agent architectures, including ReAct-style agents, LangGraph state machines, and a custom agent execution Harness.
Serve as a senior technical voice for agentic system design while remaining effective across the broader software stack.
Role Focus
- Lead multi-agent orchestration for transaction editing, conversational configuration, and multi-product quote planning.
- Own the custom Harness for full-duplex sessions, low-latency streaming, backpressure, progress reporting, partial results, and graceful cancellation.
- Guide the boundary between the Harness and the first-party MCP interface.
- Support A2A task delegation and streaming through an external gateway.
- Work directly with customer and product teams on live deployments and real workflow constraints.
- Develop RAG and context-engineering capabilities for tenant documents and cost-efficient prompts.
- Evaluate classical ML pipelines alongside LLM-based alternatives.
- Provide enough Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and Lit fluency to unblock integrations.
