Workplace and Contract
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi with hybrid working.
- The engagement is contract-based for 12 months or longer.
- The position is at Staff level.
What You Will Do
- Develop, train, and deploy ML models and LLM-powered systems for live AI products.
- Work with LLMs, RAG, parameter-efficient fine-tuning, and agentic systems in business contexts.
- Build and ship LLM-powered applications from model to deployed API.
- Translate business challenges into production AI with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize models against real-world performance.
- Implement and manage robust data pipelines for reliable model input.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years in ML or AI engineering with real production experience.
- Strong Python and experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications with FastAPI or Flask, REST, and websockets.
- Experience with LLMs, LoRA, QLoRA, RAG, and agentic systems.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn and libraries such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- Comfort with SQL or NoSQL and vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
- A track record of applying ML to real, business-critical problems.
Preferred Background
- Competitive coding experience such as Kaggle, ACM/ICPC, IOI, or TopCoder is a strong signal but is not required.
- A strong technical degree or experience shipping LLM products at a serious AI company is preferred.
