The analyst owns core metrics including conversion rate, contracted volume, total sales, and margins.

The role reports to the Analytics Manager for performance and development while working jointly with commercial on priorities.

  • Define and report forecast accuracy against annual targets.
  • Diagnose CRM data quality issues that affect pipeline and forecast reliability.

Commercial Analysis and Insight

  • Conduct commercial opportunity sizing and partner performance analysis.
  • Identify underperformance, trends, and risks before they appear in headline forecasts.
  • Translate retention and renewal analysis into recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Partnership and Storytelling

  • Define clear and agreed metrics with commercial and sales stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into compelling stories for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Increase data adoption so colleagues can self-serve routine analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Solid SQL skills across modern analytics stacks such as dbt, Omni, or similar BI tools.
  • Good commercial understanding connected to revenue and margin outcomes.
  • Experience developing forecasts or scenario models and explaining variance from actuals.
  • Ability to define ambiguous analytical problems and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience building trusted metrics or reporting from messy or inconsistent CRM or transactional data.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in energy, fintech, or another commercially complex, data-heavy sector.
  • Python experience for deeper statistical or data-quality work.
  • Experience building metric frameworks connecting operational activity to commercial outcomes.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and parent-child or account hierarchy data structures.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The listed compensation range is £92,500 to £101,000 or equivalent in local currency.
  • Benefits include stock options, 25 days of holiday plus public holidays, and a birthday day off.

Working Arrangement

  • The role is remote first and offers flexible working with clear core hours.
  • The company has no internal meetings on Friday afternoons.

Interview Process

  • The stated process usually takes two to three weeks and includes talent, behavioural, technical skills, and leadership interviews.
