Pipeline and forecasting

• Monitor the sales pipeline and resolve overlapping or double-counted in-progress and confirmed revenue.
• Define and report forecast accuracy against annual targets.
• Diagnose CRM data quality issues, including parent-child asset relationships, that affect forecast reliability.

Commercial analysis

• Conduct commercial opportunity sizing and partner performance analysis for sales and leadership decisions.
• Identify underperformance, emerging trends, and pipeline risks before they appear in headline forecasts.
• Translate retention and renewal trends into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Partnership and storytelling

• Work with commercial and sales stakeholders to define clear and agreed metric definitions.
• Translate complex analysis into compelling stories that inspire action among non-technical stakeholders.
• Increase data adoption so non-technical colleagues can self-serve routine needs.

Required qualifications

• Solid SQL skills for investigating complex datasets across modern analytics stacks such as dbt, Omni, or similar BI tools.
• Good commercial understanding and ability to connect analysis to revenue and margin outcomes.
• Experience developing forecasts or scenario models and explaining variance from actuals.
• Ability to turn ambiguous stakeholder questions into defined analytical problems and clear recommendations.
• Experience building trusted metrics or reporting from messy CRM or transactional data.

Bonus qualifications

• Experience in energy, fintech, or another commercially complex, data-heavy sector is a bonus.
• Python for deeper statistical or data-quality work is a bonus.
• Experience building metric frameworks connecting operational activity to commercial outcomes is a bonus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and parent-child or account hierarchy structures is a bonus.
