Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company.

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, performing account reconciliations, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, and assisting with job cost and financial reporting.

The Staff Accountant works closely with accounting, operations, and project management teams to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and properly recorded.

This position also assists with audits, reporting, and other accounting functions as needed.

• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with the monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Assist with maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice review, payment processing, customer billing, and account reconciliation.
• Assist with project and job-cost accounting, including reviewing costs, coding transactions, and identifying discrepancies.
