Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. In this role you will spend a minimum of 50% of your time in the field. You will also review and revise safety documentation and be responsible for supporting workplace health and safety programs through education and mentoring to various levels of the organization. You will have an opportunity to be an active member of our emergency response program.
Work as a member of the health and safety team.
Be responsible for safety program data collection and management.
Conduct workplace inspections and work with people to help them better understand safe workplace requirements.
Once qualified, participate in confined space testing.
Attend safety toolbox meetings and present safety related topics.
Handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of routine duties.
Take a proactive role in hazard identification and recommend corrective actions.
diploma or certificate in occupation health and safety or a related field;
three to six years of relevant work experience;
class 5 driver’s license;
equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; and
