Assist in operating raisebore and longhole drills and all associated equipment.

Assist in the moving, set-up, teardown, and placements of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment and drills.

Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.

minimum grade twelve education or equivalent;

previous work as a driller’s helper in a mining environment;

minimum of two years underground work experience;

strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills;

rotating day shift/night shift schedule ; and

work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

experience with raisebore or longhole drills;

experience in longhole drilling and blasting; and

ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer).
