Job Purpose
Monitor the day-to-day operations of LPG vessels and act as the focal point between ships and the organization.
Monitor safety, certifications, and regulatory requirements so company-owned vessels operate safely, efficiently, economically, and in compliance with statutory rules.
Inspection and Compliance
- Monitor, arrange, and respond to SIRE and CDI inspections requested by the owner's commercial department.
- Coordinate flag inspections and visit vessels to assist with pre-vetting inspections.
- Carry out other audits required by management to identify potential risks in advance.
Port Agencies and Security
- Participate in agency appointments and follow up on timely disbursements and invoicing for owner husbandry matters.
- Monitor vessel transit in high-risk areas, oversee alert testing, and liaise with service providers on troubleshooting.
Vessel Operations and Safety
- Monitor and support vessel loading and discharging operations with commercial operators.
- Support assigned vessels on operational, safety, and emergency matters to ensure safe voyage execution.
