Role Summary and Purpose
The Senior Technical Specialist cum Business Analyst joins the Global Consumer Affairs technology team.
The role connects business strategy and technical execution through leadership, project management, consultation, vendor coordination, compliance, and digital solution delivery.
The role supports global and regional Consumer Affairs teams and helps deliver low-effort consumer experiences through omni-channel technology.
Business Analysis and Requirements
- Partner with Consumer Affairs teams to understand workflows, pain points, and strategic goals.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, functional requirement documents, and system configurations.
Project Management and System Evolution
- Support existing platforms and lead future capability expansions, upgrades, and system evolution.
- Develop project plans, facilitate meetings, track deliverables, manage risks, and resolve or escalate blockers.
Vendor Collaboration and Support
- Serve as the technical interface with external IT vendors and internal engineering teams.
- Manage troubleshooting workflows and escalate technical issues affecting Consumer Affairs platforms.
Quality, Change, and Administration
- Define UAT strategies, develop testing protocols, supervise testing cycles, and validate releases.
- Oversee access control, global role management, and system change control.
Compliance and Enablement
- Ensure platforms meet compliance, security, privacy, and records retention requirements.
- Maintain system validation state, audit trails, and compliance documentation.
- Develop training materials, facilitate platform training, and evaluate emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related domain.
- Five or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Specialist, Systems Analyst, or Technical Project Lead.
- Experience managing parallel priorities, project plans, vendor SLAs, system configuration, troubleshooting, access management, and change control.
- Familiarity with compliance, privacy, security, records retention, and communicating technical concepts across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, visualization tools, low-code or no-code platforms, technical documentation, system validation, and knowledge management.
- Hands-on exposure to Emplifi offerings and Salesforce applications such as Reputation Studio by 1440.io.
