Sr. Technical Program Manager

Arcfield is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee major programs that support NSWC Crane’s mission portfolios.

This individual will focus on the overall planning, execution, and success of large, multi-year efforts, including systems development, research, and advanced technology initiatives critical to the activity’s and agency’s needs.

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for program direction, definition, and long-range planning, driving successful outcomes by managing technical approaches, resources, milestones, budgets, and schedules.

This position will require strong leadership and experience in a collaborative environment to deliver efficient and impactful solutions that align with NSWC Crane’s objectives.

• Oversee the planning, organization, and direction of large, highly complex programs consisting of multiple sub-programs or tasks.
• Define and guide the overall program vision, technical approaches, and long- and short-term strategies to ensure mission success.
• Lead negotiation and collaboration with agency and organizational personnel to secure and allocate resources, including personnel, technology, and funding, to meet program objectives.
• Develop, establish, and continually monitor technical milestones, program schedules, budgets, and cost performance to ensure successful program execution.
• Formulate and direct technical approaches across program teams, ensuring all activities align with customer and organizational goals.
• Identify potential risks, manage mitigation plans, and track team/program performance to address issues or roadblocks proactively.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including NSWC Crane and agency representatives, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with mission objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree with 16-18 years; MS with 14+ years or a PhD with 10+ years' experience in a technical or managerial discipline.
