- Act as the focal point for business process support and issue resolution, ensuring end users can efficiently execute project activities within SAP and other VP systems in alignment with established timelines.
- Facilitate clear communication of business requirements and system changes to ICT to support the effective utilization and continuous improvement of systems.
- Key Responsibilities:* Provide end-user support and resolve system-related issues to ensure smooth execution of project tasks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and ICT, translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Continuously assess existing business processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements and innovative solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Evaluate proposed solutions for business suitability and operational impact to ensure successful implementation.
- Support the delivery of strategic initiatives by enhancing processes and system capabilities to meet Directorate objectives.
Required Experience And Skills
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a business environment, with strong exposure to Business Process Analysis and Data Analysis within Project Management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven expertise in applying a wide range of data mining and data analysis techniques, utilizing diverse data tools to build and implement analytical models, develop algorithms, and run simulations.
- Strong experience in statistical analysis and data mining techniques, including data extraction, cleaning, and transformation (munging), leveraging data from company databases, ERP systems, and legacy platforms to drive optimization and business decision-making.
- Hands-on experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Python, and similar platforms, with exposure to web services and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of master data management concepts, including object definitions and data models, is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis, modelling, optimization, and workflow automation.
- Practical experience in process modelling methodologies, notations, continuous improvement approaches, optimization strategies, and statistical process control.
- Proficiency in documenting and diagramming business processes, including the use of entity-relationship diagrams, process flow diagrams, and workflow diagrams.
- Good understanding of project management principles, tools, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM), with demonstrated ability to plan, conduct, and document process studies and assessments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and Power BI.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor or Master level degree in Business, Computer, Information Science or a related field.
