QatarEnergy is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst (Basis) to ensure stable operation, maintenance, and security of SAP cloud solutions including SAP RISE, BTP, and AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Ensure stable operation, maintenance, and security of SAP cloud solutions
- Manage configurations, monitor performance, and maintain integrations across SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and SAP Business Data Cloud
- Establish and operate SAP AI infrastructure including Joule, AI Core, and related services
- Govern technical foundation for AI enabled scenarios by managing runtime environments, connectivity, and data pipelines
- Oversee controlled technical changes, user access, and system updates in line with architecture and governance standards
- Ensure applications and interfaces are securely managed through protection mechanisms, traffic control, and monitoring
- Maintain secure communication and mitigate potential threats in alignment with organizational security and architecture requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 9+ years in SAP technical roles, minimum 4 5 years in SAP Basis / Cloud (BTP/RISE)
- SAP Certified in at least one of: SAP S/4HANA System Administration, SAP BTP Administrator, Solution Architect, BDC, Data Architect, or Business Transformation Consultant
- Strong understanding of SAP architectures including SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP BTP, Integration Suite and SAP BDC
- Experience with SAP AI platform components including SAP Joule, AI Core, and supporting infrastructure
- Knowledge of SAP platform security and compliance
- Hands on experience with integrations and APIs
- Ability to manage platform configurations, connectivity, and data flows in complex hybrid landscapes
- Proven ability to coordinate with internal teams, service providers and system integrators
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
- Commitment to quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement
- Experience in change, release, and access governance processes

Primary Purpose of the Job
- Ensures the stable operation, maintenance, and security of SAP cloud solutions by managing configurations, monitoring performance, and maintaining integrations across platforms such as SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Establishes and operates SAP AI infrastructure including Joule, AI Core, and related services.
- Governs the technical foundation for AI enabled scenarios by managing runtime environments, connectivity, and data pipelines.
- Oversees controlled technical changes, user access, and system updates in line with architecture and governance standards.
- Ensures that applications and interfaces are securely managed through appropriate protection mechanisms, traffic control, and monitoring.
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong understanding of SAP architectures, including SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP BTP, Integration Suite and SAP BDC.
- Experience with SAP AI platform components, including exposure to SAP Joule, AI Core, and supporting infrastructure such as runtime environments, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of SAP platform security and compliance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements across applications, integrations, and AI services.
- Hands on experience with integrations and APIs, including securing the interfaces across SAP and non SAP systems.
- Ability to manage platform configurations, connectivity, and data flows in complex, hybrid landscapes.
- Proven ability to coordinate with internal teams, service providers and system integrators to deliver stable and secure platform operations.
- Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently, plan activities, and deliver against defined objectives.
- Commitment to quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement of platform and infrastructure services.
- Experience in change, release, and access governance processes within enterprise environments.
- Good understanding of traffic management, monitoring, and security controls for applications, APIs, and external facing services.
- Strong problem solving and incident management skills in cloud based SAP environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical topics with business needs.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 9+ years in SAP technical roles, Minimum 4–5 years in SAP Basis / Cloud (BTP/RISE).
- SAP Certified in at least one of the areas below: SAP Certified SAP S/4HANA System Administration; SAP Certified SAP BTP Administrator, Solution Architect or equivalent; SAP Certified – BDC, Data Architect or equivalent; SAP Certified – Business Transformation Consultant.
