Preferred Qualifications

• Marketplace experience - Uber’s business model is marketplace heavy and prior experience creating 0 to 1 features and optimizing marketplaces is preferred. Experience in real-time marketplace platforms requiring high consistency and global reliability.

• Strong Cross Company Technical Collaboration - (1) Strong ability to collaborate and communicate technically with multiple teams across the company (2) Strong ability to deep dive into complex technical systems owned by other organizations (3) Create clean technical solutions that factor in complexities across multiple systems & ultimately solve for multiple team goals
• Full stack experience - Ability to design, build, debug and optimize full stack applications that run across our backend servers to our Android and iOS apps

Responsibilities

• For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $267,000 per year - USD $297,000 per year.
• For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $267,000 per year - USD $297,000 per year.
• For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $267,000 per year - USD $297,000 per year.
• For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
