Navan is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Flights group.
The role contributes to Navan’s high-scale flight platform, which supports global business growth and enterprise customers.
The position involves complex engineering work with engineers, product managers, designers, and business leaders across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance features and core services for a global customer base.
- Solve complex engineering challenges involving reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Own features from design and development through deployment and operational support.
- Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams and contribute to team performance.
- Champion code quality, scalability, documentation, monitoring, and testing practices.
- Stay engaged with new technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience building and scaling complex systems; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered.
- Experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing or core business products at scale.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot and understanding of JVM performance optimisation.
