Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality web applications using Angular C Sharp JavaScript and Net Framework that support complex investment banking and brokerage workflows while ensuring maintainability and scalability across modules.
• Implement robust backend services and APIs using C Sharp and Net Framework integrated with SQL databases to deliver secure reliable and performant data processing for business critical trading and operations functions.
• Optimize SQL queries database schemas and stored procedures to improve end to end application performance data integrity and reporting accuracy for investment banking operations teams.
• Collaborate with product owners business analysts and testers in a hybrid work environment to translate functional requirements from investment banking and brokerage domains into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Apply Azure services such as application hosting data storage and monitoring to deploy and manage web applications ensuring high availability resilience and efficient resource utilization.
• Conduct thorough code reviews unit testing and integration testing to uphold coding standards detect defects early and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement in the engineering team.
• Analyze production issues and application defects troubleshoot root causes across front end back end and database layers and implement effective fixes to minimize downtime and business disruption.
• Document technical designs configuration details and deployment procedures in a clear and structured manner to support knowledge sharing onboarding and long term maintainability of systems.
• Coordinate with security and compliance stakeholders to implement secure coding practices data protection controls and audit readiness aligned with the regulatory expectations of investment banking and brokerage operations.
• Streamline build and deployment processes using automation tools and best practices to reduce manual effort improve reliability and ensure consistent delivery of application features in the hybrid work model.
• Mentor junior engineers on Angular C Sharp SQL Azure and Net Framework principles by providing constructive feedback pairing sessions and guidance on complex technical challenges.
• Engage with operations and support teams to understand production usage patterns operational pain points and performance bottlenecks and translate those insights into actionable technical enhancements.
• Continuously research and adopt modern engineering practices frameworks and Azure capabilities relevant to investment banking technology to keep solutions current and competitive.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in building enterprise web applications with Angular versions thirteen to sixteen using component based architecture and responsive design practices.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in C Sharp and Net Framework including object oriented design asynchronous programming and integration with relational databases.
• Show deep understanding of SQL including query optimization indexing transaction management and schema design tailored to high volume financial data workloads.
• Bring practical experience with Azure based solutions such as web apps databases identity management and monitoring tools to support secure and scalable deployments.
• Apply solid JavaScript skills across front end development including debugging performance tuning and compatibility considerations for modern browsers.
• Exhibit familiarity with investment banking operations and investment banking and brokerage processes such as trade lifecycle settlement and reconciliation as a strong advantage.
• Combine eight to twelve years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise environments with a track record of delivering reliable solutions and collaborating effectively in hybrid teams.
