Technology Specialist

The Technology Specialist will design monitor and enhance enterprise Java applications by leveraging App dynamics and Loadrunner to ensure highly reliable and performant systems.

The role focuses on end to end application performance proactive issue detection and continuous optimization while collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams in a day based office work model.

• Design and implement robust Java based application components that align with enterprise architecture standards and support scalable business solutions
• Configure and maintain App dynamics monitoring to track key performance indicators and provide clear visibility into the health of critical applications
• Analyze performance metrics from App dynamics to identify bottlenecks and propose targeted optimization strategies that improve response times and stability
• Develop and execute performance test scripts in Loadrunner to validate application behavior under various workload patterns and forecast capacity needs
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot complex performance issues and drive timely resolution of incidents affecting business services
• Document performance baselines and create detailed runbooks that guide teams on standard operating procedures and performance tuning practices
• Coordinate with quality engineering teams to integrate performance testing into the software delivery lifecycle and ensure performance defects are identified early
• Review application code with a focus on performance best practices in Java and provide constructive feedback that reduces technical debt and future risk
• Implement automation around monitoring alerts and reporting so that recurring issues are quickly surfaced and addressed with minimal manual intervention
• Participate in incident review sessions to analyze root causes and define corrective actions that prevent repeat performance degradations across environments
• Engage with product and business stakeholders to translate non functional requirements into measurable performance goals and service level indicators
• Prepare clear performance reports and dashboards that communicate trends risks and achievements to technical and non technical partners in a concise manner
• Adhere to organizational policies on security compliance and quality to ensure that all performance improvements support a safe and reliable digital experience for end users

• Exhibit strong hands on proficiency in App dynamics configuration dashboard creation and alert tuning for complex multi tier Java applications
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Java including memory management threading and optimization techniques that are critical for high throughput systems
• Apply solid experience with Loadrunner to design meaningful performance scenarios interpret results and recommend tuning strategies for applications and infrastructure
• Utilize practical understanding of relational databases and query optimization to interpret performance insights and collaborate effectively with database specialists
• Employ sound experience in working with modern build and deployment pipelines to integrate performance checks into continuous delivery practices
• Show proven ability to work in a structured office based environment following day shifts while collaborating effectively with cross functional peers on shared goals
• Display strong communication and documentation capabilities to explain complex performance findings in simple terms and support informed decision making by stakeholders

• Preferred certifications include AppDynamics Certified Performance Analyst and Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent performance testing credentials
