The Senior Project Engineer – Plumbing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing system design, coordination, execution, and commissioning within the project.
The role involves managing plumbing works on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.
Responsibilities
Review and validate plumbing design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
Coordinate plumbing system layouts with other services (HVAC, electrical, structural, architectural).
Supervise on-site plumbing installation works including drainage, water supply, water heaters, pumps, and sanitary systems.
Ensure all plumbing activities comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure workmanship quality.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and inspection authorities.
Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide timely updates on plumbing-related issues.
Prepare material take-offs, requisitions, and support procurement activities.
Provide technical support to site teams and resolve engineering or installation issues.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of plumbing systems.
Maintain up-to-date documentation including reports, redlines, and as-built drawings.
