Role Overview

The WW FBA team manages inventory placement, availability, capacity, and seller behavior across marketplaces.

The role partners with international emerging-store teams to improve FBA inventory metrics such as availability and excess or aged inventory.

The role builds operating mechanisms, measurement frameworks, and cross-functional alignment before taking deeper accountability for metric outcomes.

Metric Ownership and Diagnosis

  • Partner with in-country FBA, supply chain, retail, and operations teams to improve key FBA inventory metrics.
  • Build root-cause attribution frameworks linking forecasting gaps, inbound defects, seller restock adoption, and fulfillment-center constraints to outcomes.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly metric reviews and represent FBA in country business review forums.

Experiments and Product Improvements

  • Design and run structured seller experiments involving adoption levers, communication treatments, and incentive mechanisms.
  • Use experiment findings to build an evidence-based product and program roadmap.
  • Work with product, science, and BI teams to translate insights into scalable improvements and reflect emerging-store requirements in global roadmaps.

AI and Peak Readiness

  • Identify opportunities to use AI and automation for metric tracking, root-cause diagnosis, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate readiness for Prime Day, BFCM, and other peak periods by identifying inventory risks and developing mitigation plans.

Global and Country Collaboration

  • Connect WW FBA with in-country stakeholders by validating hypotheses, surfacing local edge cases, and supporting system rollouts.
  • Consolidate country-specific inputs for OP1 and OP2 and support knowledge transfer in both directions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience owning business metrics end-to-end, defining measurement frameworks, diagnosing root causes, and leading cross-functional improvement.
  • Proficiency in SQL or equivalent querying tools for independent operational analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including structured reviews for senior leadership.
  • Ability to influence teams without direct management authority in ambiguous or evolving contexts.
  • Experience applying AI or automation to redesign an analytical or operational workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory planning, supply chain operations, marketplace or platform supply chain, or seller/vendor-facing operations at scale.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, placement logic, restock recommendations, capacity management, or seller-facing tools.
  • Experience working in or closely with non-US Amazon stores such as EU, JP, or IN.
  • Ability to build operating mechanisms from scratch without established playbooks.
