Haskoning is an independent consulting engineering company focused on creating positive impact through infrastructure, energy transition, and other major projects.
The role is based in Raigad, Roha.
What You Will Do
- Review electrical infrastructure designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, equipment datasheets, protection schemes, and technical submissions.
- Monitor construction and installation of transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, cable networks, overhead lines, and related systems.
- Ensure compliance with CEA, CBIP, IS Codes, IEC Standards, the Electricity Act, Grid Codes, and utility regulations.
- Coordinate utility approvals, inspections, clearances, energisation, and system integration.
- Review EPC submissions on load assessment, network planning, reliability, fault calculations, protection coordination, and power quality.
- Monitor procurement, manufacturing, testing, inspection, installation, and commissioning of major electrical equipment.
- Witness FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, relay, transformer, cable, and system performance tests.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality, safety, construction, testing, and commissioning requirements.
- Track schedules, progress, delays, interface issues, risks, deviations, variations, and value engineering proposals.
- Coordinate electrical systems with civil, mechanical, utility, ICT, and infrastructure teams.
- Verify commissioning, energisation, reliability testing, performance demonstration, and contractual performance requirements.
