What you will do
- Supervise EPC contractor execution for compliance with approved drawings, contract requirements, specifications, quality, health, and safety.
- Review construction methods, procedures, resource plans, Method Statements, ITPs, Quality Plans, and site execution strategies.
- Resolve constructability issues, interface conflicts, site constraints, design discrepancies, and stakeholder coordination matters.
- Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, technical proposals, testing records, and quality documentation.
- Verify setting out, alignment, levels, grades, dimensions, and infrastructure interfaces through site inspections.
- Monitor water, sewerage, stormwater, power distribution, underground utilities, reservoirs, pump houses, substations, and utility buildings.
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions while monitoring resources, planning, and work fronts.
- Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning and monitor project progress, delays, risks, and corrective measures.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility agencies, and client representatives.
- Prepare site supervision reports, technical comments, compliance assessments, and progress reports.
Qualification and skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Ability to review engineering drawings, utility layouts, technical specifications, construction methodologies, and contractor submissions.
- Sound understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection requirements, construction standards, and BIS, IRC, MoRTH, CPHEEO, and NBC codes.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi or Marathi.
Experience requirements
- At least 15 years of professional experience in utility infrastructure construction, testing, and commissioning.
- At least five years of senior experience with a PMC, Owner's Engineer, or EPC contractor on large infrastructure or industrial development projects.
- Demonstrated experience with water distribution, sewerage, stormwater drainage, power distribution, utility corridors, and associated civil structures.
