About the Role

- Supervise Refinery & Chemical Plant process units to ensure production targets are met
- Envisage problems beforehand and take appropriate, correct, accurate decisions to minimize production loss during the shift

- Perform office work in Central Control Building (CCB) and fieldwork inside Refinery in adverse climatic conditions
Requirements
- 8 years of operations experience in Refinery with 3 years of experience in supervisory level
- High degree of oral and written English
- Able to generate reports and use customized software
- Strong leadership skills, quick troubleshooting skills, decisiveness, sharp analytical and computer skills
- Ability to interact and coordinate positively within & other departments in a direct and professional manner
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Primary Purpose of the Job
- Refinery & Chemical Plant process units are main production units. Job requires being more vigilant, envisage the problems beforehand and take appropriate, correct, accurate decision to minimize production loss during the shift.
Work Schedule
- The work schedule is a 12 hrs rotating shift often unsociable hours, including some weekends and holidays. Extra hours may be required during Turnaround and emergency.
Work Nature
- Work nature involves office work in Central Control Building (CCB) and fieldwork inside Refinery in adverse climatic conditions involving operation of hot Furnaces, high sound areas and dealing with toxic gases.
Required Experience and Skills
- 8 Years of operations experience in Refinery with 3 years of experience in supervisory level.
- High degree of oral and written English.
- Able to generate reports and use customized software.
- Strong leadership skills, quick troubleshooting skills, decisiveness, sharp analytical and computer skills.
- Ability to interact and coordinate positively within & other departments in a direct and professional manner.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
