About the Role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day functions of deconstruction, demolition and execution of department assigned Projects at offshore locations
- Ensure projects are constructed/decommissioned in accordance with approved Scope of Work, approved drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and QatarEnergy standards & specifications
- Provide guidance to construction supervisor and Contractor to ensure all deconstruction & decommissioning activities are executed in accordance with approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality and HSE requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 10 to 12 years overall experience in supervising offshore deconstruction, demolition, decommissioning with strong offshore demolition experience of oil and gas production / wellhead platform topside, Jacket structures and subsea infrastructure
- B.Sc. in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized University or Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) level in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction
- Computer literate
- Excellent command of English Language (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environmental awareness
- Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings
- Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and suggest solutions
- Ability to supervise a multi national and multi cultural contractor workforce
