About This Position
We currently have exciting opportunities for a Sr Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will be contributing to the development of LiDAR sensors for autonomous driving systems. This position is located at our Technical Center in Boston, MA (relocation offered within the USA).
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create and design new mechanical concepts for LiDAR
- Support process activities (analysis, design, reviews, testing)
- Work with a team of engineers to complete assigned individual and team tasks
- Present concepts and designs to management both internally and externally
- Read and understand customer requirements documents related to design
- Support quoting activities with suppliers and OEMs
- Drive process, procedure, and methodology improvements to optimize work efficiency.
- Willing to travel internationally to work with supplier and/or customers when needed.
