Role Overview
MetLife is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop applications using front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases.
- Implement best practices for cloud, AI and data, and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation.
- Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of application software development experience, including cloud-native applications and APIs.
- Business proficiency in English is required; Japanese language is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are expected.
Technology Stack
- Java with Spring Boot, ReactJS, SQL Server, and Cosmos DB.
- Azure Kubernetes, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Swift, and React Native.
