Key Responsibilities

• Focus of the role involves support in IFRS 17 reporting across Gulf region.
• · Support the production and review of IFRS 17 reporting deliverables across countries in the Gulf region.
• · Assist in the coordination of IFRS 17 reporting activities with Finance, Actuarial, Modeling, and IT teams.
• · Perform validation and reconciliation of IFRS 17 results and investigate reporting movements and variances.
• · Ensuring compliance with the regulation and responsible for audit queries, regulators request and other related tasks.
• · Review and challenge the Liability Cashflow models as well as IFRS 17 models to ensure compliance with the product description.
• · Ensuring Finance, accounting and IT platform being set up as per IFRS17 reporting requirement.
• · Analyse and explain the results to stakeholders
• · Prepare and maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, processes, controls, and outputs.
• · Develop strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with internal clients
• Assisting other team members in various tasks with his/her technical knowledge.
