Responsibilities
- Develop financial models including new product costing and work with brand managers and commercial sales team to optimize innovation activities
- Review and validate assumptions within financial models and business cases ensuring alignment with cross functional partners
- Lead all facets of the innovation and marketing finance functions, including financial analysis of business performance, cost saving opportunities, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision making support
- Develop dashboards, metrics and reports that support marketing leaders to drive sustainable profitable growth of branded portfolio
- Perform post mortem analysis of innovation activities to identify optimization and improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with marketing team and finance leadership in the development of annual operating plans and forecasts
- Contribute and support the formulation of brand/category initiatives and strategies
- Take charge of ad hoc projects and analysis to evaluate opportunities and mitigate operational risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, math, data science or related fields
- CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it is preferred
- Strong commercial finance acumen with proven ability to partner with cross functionals
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance and/or consulting
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting inventory and costing
- Proficiency in data management, including preparation, analysis and interpretation of financial information
- Hands on experience using data/analytics dashboards (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc)
- Strong Excel skills and experience using promotional management tools will be an asset

We’re looking for someone who has

Notes
- This role reports into the Supply Chain Finance Director and interacts closely with the AVP Finance, & CFO.
- This position is based out of our HQ in Richmond, BC 4 days a week in the office is required.
- Base salary range is: CAD 90,000 CAD 105,000 plus bonus.
