Job Summary
Manage and execute product reliability testing and validation activities within a Reliability Lab.
Ensure products, components, and systems meet reliability, durability, performance, and quality requirements through structured testing, analysis, failure investigation, and improvement.
Work with Product Design, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute reliability, durability, life-cycle, and qualification testing.
- Develop test plans, procedures, setups, and schedules from product and customer requirements.
- Operate laboratory equipment, test rigs, instrumentation, and data-acquisition systems.
- Conduct testing under thermal, mechanical, electrical, and environmental stress conditions.
- Monitor tests, capture data, identify abnormalities, and escalate failures.
- Perform failure analysis and support RCA, FMEA, 8D, and corrective actions.
- Recommend design or process improvements with Design Engineering.
- Prepare test, reliability, qualification, and technical reports.
- Support DV/PV, design-change qualification, supplier validation, and component validation.
- Maintain calibration, preventive maintenance, laboratory standards, safety, and testing documentation.
- Coordinate specialized testing with external laboratories and testing agencies.
