About the role
Develop next-generation machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions to improve engineering processes.
Solutions may support system, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering across automation levels from assistants to end-to-end workflows.
Research and apply state-of-the-art AI techniques to improve engineering efficiency and effectiveness.
Core responsibilities
- Develop concepts and evaluate solution approaches for engineering problem statements.
- Mature promising AI solutions from concept and proof of concept through validation and deployment readiness.
- Collaborate with internal customers, engineering teams, universities, and strategic partners from idea through product transition.
- Provide technical evaluations covering scientific principles, applications, manufacturability, market factors, and costs.
- Plan, execute, and coordinate research and development programs with internal and external organizations.
- Support component and module development through design, validation, prototyping, testing, and production-process evaluation.
- Identify technology gaps, analyze engineering results, and propose product or system improvements.
- Manage innovation projects, resolve technical issues, maintain documentation, and prepare progress reports.
