Role Overview
The Senior Contracts Specialist role is based in Waterdown, Ontario.
The role manages complex contractual engagements across a global customer base and works with sales, proposals, program management, delivery, trade compliance, and finance teams.
The position focuses on contracting strategy, risk mitigation, compliance, negotiations, and contract performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support proposal development and lead contract drafting and negotiation.
- Serve as the primary contact for pre-contract and post-contract matters with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Manage contract and risk activities for large-scale, complex programs.
- Communicate complex contractual concepts clearly to support agreement and faster contract execution.
- Ensure compliance with company and government procurement policies, procedures, and requirements.
