About the Role
Brunel seeks a Senior Construction Supervisor for Electrical & Instrumentation works on building and infrastructure projects in Doha. The role involves supervising site construction, coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing method statements, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and control site construction/installation of all Electrical & Instrumentation works for Building Services and Infrastructure projects in operational areas
- Liaise and coordinate with different discipline Supervisors, Projects Engineers, End Users, Asset Holders and other relevant departments
- Assist in Contractor's mobilization and demobilization
- Review project planning and scheduling during construction phase, identify slippages and assist in optimizing contractor's resources
- Review construction method statements, pre commissioning procedures and endorse red mark drawings and project dossiers
- Control and endorse work permits for project work and ensure safety regulations, project safety plans, Qatar's safety and environment regulations are followed by contractor
- Inspect construction works and materials in accordance with project Quality plans and Inspection & Test plans
- Attend weekly progress meetings, update daily and weekly construction progress reports and verify contractor's progress statements for accuracy
- In coordination with end users, prepare and categorize punch lists and ensure contractor clears all punch list items
- Coordinate and assist during pre commissioning and commissioning activities
- Initiate Mechanical Completion Certificate and assist in Operational and Final Handover of the Building
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma / Graduate in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from an internationally recognized University
- 15 years or more of Construction related experience in Electrical & Instrumentation for Buildings & Infrastructure works in oil & gas related industry
- Sound knowledge of HV/MV/LV network systems, lighting & earthing, power system protections, AC/DC UPS, cathodic protection, process & control systems, fire & gas systems, BMS/CCTV/PA VA, ACS & HVAC control systems
- Experience in FAT/SAT Testing & Pre Commissioning/Commissioning works
- Relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction practices are an added advantage
