Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day functions of deconstruction, demolition, and execution of department assigned projects at offshore locations
- Ensure projects are constructed/decommissioned in accordance with approved Scope of Work, drawings, engineering design, safety, environment, and QatarEnergy standards
- Provide guidance to construction supervisor and Contractor to ensure deconstruction & decommissioning activities are executed per approved method statements
- Comply with project schedule, quality, and HSE requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 10 12 years overall experience in supervising offshore deconstruction, demolition, decommissioning
- Strong offshore demolition experience of oil and gas production/wellhead platform topside, jacket structures, and subsea infrastructure
- B.Sc. in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering or ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent command of English (oral and written)
- Computer literate

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Required Experience And Skills
- Candidate should have a minimum of 10 to 12 years overall experience in supervising, offshore deconstruction, demolition, decommissioning with strong offshore demolition experience of oil and gas production / wellhead platform topside , Jacket structures and subsea infrastructure (pipelines, umbilic
- Computer literate. Good communication and writing skills.
- Excellent command of English Language (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environmental awareness.
- Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings.
- Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.
- Ability to supervise a multi national and multi cultural contractor workforce.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Engineering Or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized University or Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) level in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.
