Responsibilities
- Ensure that Commissioning tasks assigned are properly implemented as per work standards and procedures.
- Provide detailed testing report and relevant documentation on testing completed.
- Organize and perform instrument commissioning activities, SAT/Loop test, functional test.
- Work on control systems such as APC, DCS, PLC, ESD.
- Ensure that all PPE, PTW & HSE requirements are adhered to when at worksite.
- Prepare, write suitable and comprehensive testing procedure when required.
- Receive Project documentation and understand Scope of Work related to his discipline.
- Report to Commissioning Team Leader as per project Organization chart.
- Lead a team to undertake commissioning activities in small projects.
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
- Implement & test the subsystems as per project commissioning test sheets.
- Preparation of method statements, procedures and routines where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrument Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience within the oil and gas industry
- Leadership and supervisory potentials
- Good understanding of specific Engineering discipline and inter discipline activities
- Knowledge of Commissioning software
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good technical knowledge and skills
- Good Communication skills

Job Overview
- Jobs at this level are responsible to ensure that Commissioning tasks assigned are properly implemented as per work standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ability to provide detailed testing report and relevant documentation on testing completed.
- Ability to organized and perform instrument commissioning activities, SAT/ Loop test, functional test.
- Ability to work on control system such as advance process control (APC), distributed control system (DCS), Programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), Emergency Shut Down system (ESD).
- Familiar with control strategy and control theory (PI/PID/Cascade/Split range control/ alarm managements/ etc…)
- Familiar using instrumentation document: Control Narratives, Cause and Effect chart diagram, P&ID, Loop diagrams, logic block diagram.
- Ensure that all PPE, PTW & HSE requirements are adhered to when at worksite.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering

- Good command of written and spoken English.
