- Ensure that Commissioning tasks assigned are properly implemented as per work standards and procedures
- Gather information on design failures and/or discrepancies

- Assist in preparation of plans and specific method statements including P&ID mark ups
- Identify test equipment required and ensure safe operating condition
- Lead a team to undertake commissioning activities in projects
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
- Undertake functional and Operational tests for various Process Systems
- Preparation of method statements, procedures and routines where required
- Report on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions
- Assist during the database preparation for pre commissioning status index and commissioning technical database
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience within the oil and gas industry
- At least 4 years in a key role in Commissioning

Overview
- Jobs at this level are responsible to ensure that Commissioning tasks assigned are properly implemented as per work standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ability to gather information on design failures and / or discrepancies.
- Ability to assist in performing various activities related to pre commissioning, commissioning and start up of process systems such as chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, steam blowing, package unit start up and operation, inerting, plant start up operation & stabilization.
- Ability to inspect all systems for operational readiness.
- Able to assist in preparation of plans and specific method statements including P&ID mark ups for activities related to pre commissioning, commissioning and start up of process systems.
- Identify test equipment required to complete testing at worksite and ensure all testing equipment are in safe operating condition prior use.
- Leads a team to undertake commissioning activities in projects.
- Interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
- Undertake functional and Operational tests for various Process Systems.
- Preparation of method statements, procedures and routines where required.
- Reports on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience within the oil and gas industry with at least 4 years in a key role in Commissioning
