What You Will Do
- Manage Agile ceremonies alongside the Product Owner and assist with decomposing epics into user stories.
- Refine user stories with acceptance criteria, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, business rules, and data elements.
- Facilitate stakeholder analysis, refinement sessions, and walkthroughs with technology, product, and design teams.
- Maintain reusable requirements documentation in Confluence and support application UI design and delivery.
- Document test scenarios, support developers through build and testing, and apply coverage analysis through implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to build the capabilities of junior business analysts.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a BA or BSA and 2+ years of experience on an Agile project.
- Independent experience gathering business and systems requirements.
- Experience with online banking or mobile banking.
- Knowledge of requirements methodology across Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Experience with user stories, specifications, business context diagrams, and business process maps.
- Experience on projects valued at more than $2 million.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and gap analysis skills.
- Experience facilitating groups of 20 or more stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, or Confluence.
- University bachelor’s degree.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Previous RBC experience.
- Experience with accessibility requirements or BDD feature files.
- Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis.
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.
- Experience with digital mortgage projects or mortgage financing and approval.
