Role Overview
Join American Airlines technology teams in Hyderabad to develop digital products supporting the airline's global operations.
The software domain covers application development, lifecycle management, requirements, quality assurance, security, compliance, and infrastructure maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Write, test, and document code, scripts, processes, and other technical work products.
- Design enhancements and new implementations with attention to reliability, resiliency, security, and performance.
- Debug runtime and design-time problems, investigate telemetry, and resolve issues across system components.
- Follow secure coding practices, identify vulnerabilities in code reviews, and improve automation and simplification.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience or training.
- At least 1 year of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
- Ability to communicate ideas verbally, in writing, in code, and in diagrams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and DevOps toolchain practices including CI/CD.
