Data, cloud, and engineering skills

• Power BI or Tableau, metrics definition, reporting automation, and executive-ready dashboards.
• Microsoft Azure or AWS and experience deploying data or AI workloads in cloud environments.
• Data pipelines, ELT concepts, dataset curation, and enterprise risk assessment or governance workflow integration.
• Object-oriented design, clean coding, Git, CI/CD, testing, documentation, logging, monitoring, and operational readiness.

Governance and methodologies

• Awareness of AI and data regulations such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Understanding of evidence capture, auditability, traceability, observability, exception management, and reporting controls.
• Agile experience, DevOps toolchains, relevant cloud or governance certifications, and airline experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and document technical work products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and design self-contained systems and significant system capabilities.
• Coach engineers on reliability, resiliency, security, performance, observability, and supportability.
• Define production test suites and instrumentation for latency and availability targets.
• Evaluate attack surfaces, mitigate vulnerabilities, lead high-value delivery, promote reuse, and mentor teammates.
