Role Overview
The role administers credit administration activities under ITFC policies and procedures.
The position is within the Risk & Control Complex and Credit Administration team.
The job is a fixed-term appointment stationed in one of the Islamic Development Bank Group’s regional hubs.
Key Accountabilities
- Validate credit limit and amendment requests and perform the first system step before final managerial approval.
- Review financing agreements and security documents and identify discrepancies.
- Create collateral and link it to relevant limits to control facility utilization.
- Monitor facility utilization for compliance with approval terms and escalate concerns.
- Follow up on deficient documentation with Trade Finance, Operations, and other functions.
- Prepare collateral revaluation data and report discrepancies.
- Raise system issues and follow up on resolution.
- Report policy breaches and maintain records and filing.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Trade, Banking, or Economics is required.
- A master’s degree specializing in Finance or a relevant certification is a plus.
