Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 support for Life & Medical Insurance applications, ensuring timely issue resolution and minimal downtime
- Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating business needs into technical solutions
- Work with Oracle databases, write SQL queries, and optimize performance for business applications
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Utilize Power BI to develop dashboards, generate reports, and provide insights for business decision making
- Analyze recurring issues, implement long term solutions, and enhance system reliability
- Assist in system enhancements, modifications, and new feature rollouts based on user requirements
- Support data integration between various applications and ensure consistency across platforms
- Work closely with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to drive application improvements
- Maintain detailed documentation of support processes, troubleshooting steps, and application functionalities
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and SLA adherence
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence and automation to enhance business support and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- Strong experience in Life & Medical Insurance applications
- Proficiency in Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL
- Hands on experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting
- Familiarity with API integrations, web services, and middleware technologies
- Understanding of incident management tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITIL certification or experience in an ITIL driven support environment.
