Head of Distribution – Travel & Personal Lines

Overview

• ***QIC UAE is looking for a dynamic and commercially driven professional to join our team as Head of Distribution – Travel & Personal Lines.***
• The role will be responsible for driving growth, managing distribution strategy, and expanding the portfolio across Travel, Home, Pet, Cyber and Gadgets as well as other Personal Line Insurance products.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong experience and market understanding, channel management expertise, and the ability to build sustainable partnerships across multiple distribution avenues.
• ***Key Responsibilities:***
• Manage and grow the portfolio for Travel, Home, Cyber, Pet and other Personal Line products.
• Drive distribution strategy across brokers, corporate partnerships, Bancassurance, digital/alternate channels, partnerships and emerging channels.
• Strengthen relationships with key intermediaries and identify new business opportunities.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance product positioning, customer experience, and market reach.
• Monitor portfolio performance and growth initiatives across channels.
• Identify innovative distribution opportunities aligned with evolving customer behavior and market trends.
• ***Ideal Candidate Profile:***
• Proven experience in Travel and Personal Lines distribution within the insurance industry.
• Strong exposure to managing broker networks, Partnerships and alternate distribution channels.
• Commercially astute with strong relationship management and business development capabilities.
• Ability to drive strategic growth initiatives while maintaining operational discipline.
• Candidates with directly relevant industry background and experience in similar roles will be given preference.
