What is the opportunity?
This role is responsible for the execution of activities related to trade capture operations across domestic and global markets for all segments within RBC Investor Services.
It supports accurate and timely trade processing while ensuring operational efficiency, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
The role also focuses on leveraging technical knowledge to optimize and automate procedures, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen processes.
Teamwork, knowledge sharing, and collaboration are key to ensuring effective coverage and supporting a high-performing and respectful team environment.
What will you do?
• Efficient and accurate processing of client trades including repair, validation and manual input
• Efficient and accurate processing of client cancellations/corrections
• Leverage your technical skills to optimize and automate operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes
• Contributes to environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality within the department
• Follows preset procedures are ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as corporate audit and risk management requirements.
• Collaborate with management decisions and discretions that are required to mitigate risks
• Knowledge and “client exception” sharing to always ensure proper coverage
• Support and adopt to new initiatives
What do you need to succeed?
Must haves:
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Solid knowledge of Trade Processing principles
• Very strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Analytical and detail-oriented qualities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet very strict deadlines
