The employer is seeking a Senior Accountant with auditing experience.
The role provides financial and accounting support to executives and department heads who establish organizational goals and budgets.
Restaurant group experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and operational audits of departments and processes.
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management systems, and governance processes.
- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and related data to identify trends and issues.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare and present audit findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve processes, reduce costs, and strengthen internal controls.
- Conduct follow-up audits to verify that corrective actions were implemented.
- Collaborate with departments and external auditors and provide required documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least four years of audit experience is required.
- Experience in a restaurant group is required.
- CIA or CPA certification is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Employment
- The position is full-time.
