Manage day-to-day financial operations for a perfume manufacturing business.
Monitor inventory and raw material costs while ensuring compliance with UAE tax and regulatory frameworks.
Manufacturing and Cost Accounting
- Track and analyze raw materials, including essential oils, alcohol, bottles, and packaging.
- Analyze direct and indirect production expenses.
- Monitor inventory, reconcile stock, and investigate physical-to-system variances.
General Ledger and Bookkeeping
- Maintain daily accounting records, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet preparations.
UAE Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file accurate UAE VAT returns on time.
- Maintain Corporate Tax records and perform computations in compliance with UAE federal laws.
ERP and Reporting
- Process financial data using ERP software such as Tally, SAP, or Odoo.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel for financial processing and reporting.
- Organize financial documents for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Three to five years of overall accounting experience, including one to two years in the UAE.
- Manufacturing or FMCG, cosmetics, or perfume experience is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Practical UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing experience.
- High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and good communication skills.
- The posting specifies two years of perfume experience and two years of VAT and Corporate Tax filing experience.
Pay
- Pay starts from AED 4,000 per month.
