The Opportunity
Join Medibank’s Integrated Uplift Program (iUP) as Squad Lead - Controls , a high-impact 12-month opportunity to lead enterprise-wide controls transformation initiatives.
Reporting to the Hub Lead, Enterprise Controls, you will play a key role in strengthening Medibank’s control environment, driving improvements in risk maturity, operational effectiveness, and sustainable risk management practices.
This role is suited to a seasoned operational risk professional who thrives in complex transformation environments and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of the Controls squad, translating strategic objectives into practical delivery plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Drive the uplift of Medibank's enterprise control environment, including controls framework enhancement, controls mastery and optimisation initiatives.
- Improve control effectiveness through the introduction of automated monitoring, continuous controls testing and data-driven insights.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, governance requirements and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
